Ensemble c'est tout (2007) *****

It shows simple things the people usually do. And it produces warm feelings.

Ocean's Thirteen (2007) *****

The more Ocean's the better.
Each time it is more stylish and more subtle fun.
It's a good film to relax and enjoy your life and feel how easy you should got your millions.

Zwartboek (2006) ****-

A good film full of human blood and humilation as usual for Verhuven.
And as usual it is intended to produce good feelings. And I'm not kidding yet. With less intentions I would opt for five stars.
Two-language film: they say in Dutch and German (and there is a scene in French).

Happy Feet

Happy Feet (2006) ****

If you like both funny and sad musicals from penguin's life it's for you and your family.
Impressive moving pictures of life on water and ice. Also it's about how non-conformism can change your life.

Step Up

Step Up (2006) ****_

Two main lead characters are success. And they can dance!
Hip hop and ballet. Poor and rich.
Natural acting and dialogues with excelent dances.
The single flaw is a plot which is well predictable.

Marie Antoinette

Marie Antoinette (2006) *****

Sofia Koppola keeps her unique style as in my favourite Lost In Translation.
Though due to non-reading a splendid Stefan Zweig's book it flaws as a historical film.
For me it's two hours of relaxation, reflection, and pleasure.
Even though I can understand why some people may not like it. The feelings produced by Sofia's movies are subtle and you need to be active, your feelings and spirit should be active. While standard Holliwood-like films try to keep your attention at any means.
It is recommended for those who are tired of Holliwood.

World Trade Center

World Trade Center (2006) ****_

It's a good realistic movie about 9/11 almost without Hollywood's propaganda.
About two men under parts of World Trade Center Towers.
It also shows one psychological effect of arts - all ladies and gents can be murdered but main characters and what you see is a happy end!
